[Workshop] Photo-active materials with cooperative & synergetic responses

Les 29 et 30 mars, le LIA (Laboratoire International Associé) franco-japonais Nano-Synergetics vient à LILLIAD pour son tout premier workshop, destiné aux jeunes étudiants en master, chercheurs doctorants et post-doctorants sur la thématique des matériaux photo-actifs.

Une quarantaine de présentations orales sur deux jours et une session posters, en partie à LILLIAD, en partie à l’Espace Culture de l’université de Lille sont au programme.

« Nano-Synergetics is a French/Japanese International Associate Laboratory built on research groups from ENS Paris-Saclay, Lille University, Osaka University, NAIST, Kyoto University and Aoyama Gakuin University. Projects within Nano-Synergetics aim at designing and studying novel complex photochromic molecular nanomaterials (organic and hybrid) based on nonlinear cooperative effects, multi-photon processes and multifunctionality.

This Nano-synergetics Workshop for Young Researchers, March 29ᵗʰ – 30ᵗʰ 2018, will be devoted to “Photo-active Materials with Cooperative and Synergetic Responses” and will take place at Lilliad – Lille University (Campus Cité Scientifique). The scientific meeting will consist of about 4-6 keynotes from established Japanese & French Professors, 30-40 oral presentations of young researchers and a poster session / cocktail on Thursday evening.

This Workshop will also actively contribute to the celebration of the 160ᵗʰ anniversary of diplomatic relations between France and Japan in 2018, encouraging future collaborations among the new generation of researchers (Master2, Ph.D. course students, Post Doctorates or assistant professors).

We expect participants not only from our laboratories but from a wider scientific community. Topics will be related, not only, but mainly to the following aspects

  • Photo-mechanical effects
  • Magnetism and Plasmonics
  • Photo-emissive (nano-)materials
  • Supramolecular materials
  • Multiphoton processes and dynamics
  • Advanced data analysis and chemometrics »
